Aiding A Comrade by Frederic Remington
During the American frontier wars, horse skirmishes were perilous due to their speed and intensity. The stress of rapid combat, coupled with the challenge of controlling horses, put riders under immense physical and psychological strain. A fall from a horse during such intense and unpredictable gunfights greatly increased the risk of injury or death.
Professionally produced using a high quality inkjet digital press and printed on 300gsm art stock. These prints are at an affordable price for our collectors and include specially selected historical images from our large Cranston Fine Arts archive. Our archive of historical military art has been built over 30 years and we are now beginning to reproduce a selection of these works as high quality collectors prints, printed using professional digital methods instead of our traditional litho printing.
