Battle of Tanga by David Pentland

Schulztruppen and Askaris, Tanga, Tanzania 3rd-5th November 1914. Also known as the "Battle of the Bees", this was the first major engagement of the East African campaign. The British Indian Expeditonary Force's invasion of the port of Tanga failed, defeated by the smaller German force of Paul von Lettow-Vorbeck.
