Pictured here is the death of Lieutenant Guido von der Lippe while pursuing King Joachim Murat during the action at Liebertwolkwitz. This cavalry skirmish took place around the Battle of Leipzig, Murat was nearly captured twice during this skirmish but managed to evade the enemy and had his cavalry repulse anyone in pursuit. The battle would go down as the largest cavalry battle in European history and ultimately ended in a stalemate.
