Desert Defence by Jason Askew. [Original Drawing]

Infantry of the British 8th Army fend off marauding Me109s with a Bren gun in the Western Desert in 1942.

The original drawings in this series were created by the artist on paper signed by the veterans over a decade prior to the drawing being added. The sheets were signed in person by the veterans around 2008-2009 with the artwork added in 2021-2022.
