Fieseler F.156 Storch by Ivan Berryman. (GS)

Depicted on a typical night time sortie, this Fieseler Fi.156C was in service in Sarajevo in 1945 with FFS A/B5. The Storch's incredible short take off and landing capability, coupled with its stalky, but robust landing gear, made it an ideal aircraft for covert drops, personnel transport and spotting duties. GA+TR is depicted landing with flaps and leading edge slats extended.
