DHM1432. Flora MacDonalds Farewell to Bonnie Prince Charlie by George William Joy

Flora MacDonald helped Bonnie Prince Charlie escape after his defeat at the Battle of Culloden in 1746. Disguised as her maid, he fled with her assistance from the Hebrides to Skye, evading capture by British forces.

Professionally produced using a high quality inkjet digital press and printed on 300gsm art stock. These prints are at an affordable price for our collectors and include specially selected historical images from our large Cranston Fine Arts archive. Our archive of historical military art has been built over 30 years and we are now beginning to reproduce a selection of these works as high quality collectors prints, printed using professional digital methods instead of our traditional litho printing.
