HMS Nelson by Randall Wilson (GL)

HMS Nelson served in the Indian Ocean during World War II, joining the Eastern Fleet in late 1941 to bolster British naval forces. The battleship was involved in operations off Sumatra, provided regional security against Japanese forces, and acted as flagship for the East Indies Fleet in 1945, presiding over the Japanese surrender in Penang and Southeast Asia.
