Junior Paramore had a long international rugby union career with Samoa, competing in three world cups, in 1991, 1995 and 1999. One of the highlights was the 38 - 31 win against Wales at a near capacity Millennium Stadium, Cardiff in the 1999 World Cup. In the painting, Junior Paramore is carrying the ball into contact with Wales No.6 Martyn Williams.
