Le Bourget, October 30th 1870 by Alphonse de Neuville [New Print Edition]

The First Battle of Le Bourget was fought from the 27th to the 30th of October 1870. The French army successfully captured the town of Le Bourget from the Prussian forces, however a strong Prussian counter-attack drove the French out of their position. Heavy French losses were sustained, and it was a huge blow to morale in the besieged city of Paris.
