Nelsons Chase After The French Fleet, 1805 by Thomas Davidson [Postcard]

After Napoleons forces threatened Britain, Admiral Horatio Nelson sought to disrupt the French fleet, which was anchored at Cadiz, Spain. In October 1805, Nelson, commanding a smaller but more maneuverable British fleet, pursued Vice Admiral Pierre-Charles Villeneuve├óÔé¼Ôäós larger French and Spanish fleet.
