Old Faithfuls Marathon Win by Keith Woodcock
To celebrate the 35th Anniversary of the launch of the MGB, this painting depicts Old Faithful on her way to an outright victory in the gruelling 84 hour Marathon De La Route race at the Nurburgring in 1966. The MGB was pitted against powerful opposition including Ferraris and works Lotus Cortinas. The BMC pairing of Andrew Hedges and Julien Vernaeve won the race despite damaging the car very early in the race.
