An S.R. Merchant Navy Class Pacific No.21C9 Shaw Savill at the head of a westbound express in Devon bound for Exeter, c.1947. This locomotive was originally built in 1942 and then rebuilt in 1957 - it was withdrawn from service in 1964. As of 2019 the locomotive still exists and is due to be restored.
