Written in 14th century Iceland, but taking place in Norway during the 8th century, the saga narrates bow Frithiof falls in love with the beautiful Princess Ingeborg, but their romance is thwarted by her father, King Ring, who demands that Frithiof prove his worth by completing a series of heroic deeds.
