A true gentleman of the football world, Bobby Robson sadly died in 2009 after a long and distinguished career in the sport. After over 600 appearances for Fulham and West Brom as a player, it was his ability as a manager that was to prove his real strength. He took England to the quarter finals of the 1986 World Cup in Mexico, and followed this with a journey to the semi finals of Italy 1990, later becoming a managerial legend at Newcastle United.
