Sir Richard Grenville in "Revenge" 1591 by William Heysham Overend [New Print Edition]

Admiral Sir Richard Grenville aboard the 46 gun galleon, Revenge, during its fatal deployment at the Battle of Flores on the 31st of August 1591. Revenge and her crew would fight hard but would be damaged and ultimately boarded by the Spanish after Grenville was grievously wounded and his men surrendered. He would die several days later, reportedly screaming of "traitors and dogs".
