The Battle of Elandslaagte: Charge of "C" Squadron of the 5th Lancers by Richard Caton Woodville [New Print Edition]

The Battle of Elandslaagte, during the Second Boer War, was a British assault on Boer positions on the hills in the Natal province. The British succeeded in routing the Boer forces, who were chased by the 5th Lancers and the 5th Dragoons who killed many as they fled. This would be one of the few successful cavalry actions in the Boer war.
