The Wurttemberg Dragoon Regiment "Kronprinz" breaking through the French line with a violent attack during the Battle of La Rothiere. A major reason for the French defeat at La Rothiere was the harsh snow drifts that swept across the Battlefield, which made columns of troops lose direction and cohesion, leaving them vulnerable to cavalry attack.
