The Charge of the Household Calvary at Kassassin by Richard Simkin [Postcard]

The Battle of Kassassin, fought at the Sweet Water Canal on August 28th 1882. General Drury Drury-Lowe led a Moonlight Charge of the Royal Horse Guards and 7th Dragoon Guards into Egyptian lines, capturing 11 guns, all while only taking a handful of casualties. Taken from the original book plate produced in 1883.
