The Majestic at the Battle of the Nile, 1798 (B)

At the Battle of the Nile in 1798, HMS Majestic joined the British fleet late in the action and engaged several French ships. It suffered heavy casualties due to poor visibility and confusion during the night-time fighting. Despite the losses, she contributed to the overall British victory and would be repaired and continue to sail until being broken down in 1785.
