Pictured here, Major Crazy Platen and his trumpeter of the Lithuanian Dragoons engaged in combat with a French uhlan during the Battle of Mockern on the 5th of April 1813. The trumpeter is seen here delivering a blow with his instrument after the uhlan had wounded Major Platen with his sabre.
