One of the first major combat operations during the Tirah Campaign in the mountainous region of Tirah, in north-western Pakistan, was the attack on Dargai Heights. Pictured here is the Gordon Highlanders and 2nd King Edward VIIs own Gurkha Rifles on the 20th of October storming the enemy position atop the mountainside.
