Tribute to Gen. Stanislaw Skalski by Ivan Berryman (PC)

A damaged Heinkel He111 rolls onto its back as Gen. Stanislaw Skalski claims another victim for 501 Sqn on 30th August 1940. With eight confirmed victories, plus one damaged, Skalski had become an ace by 5th September, but was shot down by Me109's on this day over Canterbury, suffering burns in the incident.
