Tribute to Savelii Vasil'evich Nosov by Ivan Berryman. [Original Painting]

Depicted in early 1945 in his Yak-3 of the 4 IAK special hunter squadron, Lt Savelii Vasil'evich Nosov's aircraft has the blood red rose of this unit. Awarded the Hero of the Soviet Union, he had scored 16 victories in nearly 150 missions by the end of World War Two.
