Finnish T-26 tanks en-route to Karhumaki, January 1942. Developed from the Vickers 6 ton tank the Soviet T-26 was one of the most successful tank designs of the 1930’s. Many were captured by Finnish forces during the Winter War of 1939-40 and although nearly obsolete were still welcomed by the Finns, and used throughout the Continuation War.
