Battle of Britain Class No.34051 flanked by Merchant Navy Class No.35029 Ellerman Lines and Q-1 Class No.33001. The Winston Churchill was brought specially brought out of retirement following the death of namesake Sir Winston Churchill in 1965, in order to carry the former prime minister and his immediate family to his final resting place in Oxfordshire.

The main edition of this print has been sold out for many years. We now have just one print available from the artists personal collection. This print is signed by the artist Terence Cuneo, but not numbered, and is considered one of the artist proofs. The print has slight damage to the border on the right hand side of the print.
