HMS Amethyst about to return fire while a Sunderland of 88 Squadron makes a hurried departure, 23rd of April 1949.
This edition is signed by world famous actor Richard Todd, who played the part of Lieutenant Commander John Kerans in the film. Kerans took command of the ship after the bridge was hit by a Chinese shell, killing the Captain. He led the night-time escape from the Yangtse River.
